Why Options League?

As an experienced, albeit intermediate-level options trader, here's my unfiltered, shameless experience — and why I created OptionsLeague.

Trading options is like skydiving blindfolded with a broken parachute — a wild freefall of emotions, often all in a single day.

What really got me hooked — like a kid with his first love — was when I was 20 years old, sitting in my university bathroom stall and cashing out my first-ever option trade for $3,400 USD.
It was a TSLA call I bought the day before for $150.
Tesla gapped up hard overnight.
By the time I got back to class, I was already plotting how to break it to my mom that I was dropping out to become a "pro options trader."

You can probably guess what happened next.

Winning big early was the worst thing that could've happened to me.
With my history of gambling and addictive behaviors, that first hit flooded me with emotions that would haunt my trading journey:
Greed. Impatience. Overconfidence. FOMO.

It wasn't about knowledge — I actually had a knack for spotting big plays.
The real battle was emotional.
And I didn't have the army to withstand the siege.

After every win, I'd chase another.
After every loss, I'd double down.
When there was nothing to trade, I'd trade anyway — out of boredom, fear of missing out, or the sheer addiction to action.

I always thought:
"If only there was a way to scratch the itch without blowing up my account."
